8 km Charity Walk
Thank you to all the incredible participants and dedicated organizers who made the 8km charity walk an astounding success! Together, we walked hand in hand, leaving footprints of compassion and making a significant impact in our community. The event was truly a testament to the power of unity, generosity, and the unwavering spirit of giving back.
Our heartfelt appreciation goes out to the West African Rescue Association (WARA), a private ambulance and healthcare service, for their invaluable presence during the walk. Ensuring the safety and well-being of our participants was of utmost importance, and WARA’s prompt response and professional care provided us with peace of mind. Their commitment to the community is commendable, and we are grateful for their support. To learn more about their remarkable services, please visit their website at www.westafrican-rescue.com.
We are immensely grateful for the dedication of the two police officers who joined us on this inspiring journey. Their presence helped ensure a secure environment for all our participants. Their commitment to protecting and serving the community is truly commendable, and we extend our sincere gratitude for their assistance throughout the event.
To Na Lamiorkor Akuorkor Amoako Agyeman of BOTTLES SOLUTIONS, who provided chilled water along both sides of the entire route. She had her boys at vantage spots to hand out water plus her pick-up truck to ferry the drinks coolers. Ayekoo Ayekoo Ayekoo Akuorkor.
As we embarked on this 8km journey, we made sure to provide refreshing cold water points along the route. We understand the importance of staying hydrated, and these water points served as much-needed refueling stations for our enthusiastic walkers. We express our deepest thanks to the team responsible for setting up and managing these points, ensuring that every participant remained energized and ready to conquer the miles.
Thanks to your unwavering support and generous contributions, we have managed to raise a significant amount for our chosen charity. The impact of your participation will be felt by those in need for a long time to come, bringing hope and brighter days to many lives.
