Florence was a Sierra Leone national but met and married her Ghanaian husband abroad. They then settled in Ghana where she became a very active member of the GIWC. She was instrumental in the refurbishment of the maternity ward of the old Ridge hospital in Accra. She was a regular visitor to our children’s kindergarten in Berekuso. Florence held many positions in the club but loved the Welfare and Projects committees the most. She left behind 3 children and grandchildren.
